Mclaren Gear Box Testing

The Problem

Gearbox testing room that was built into modern fit out box room. Reverberation and echo when testing was difficult even with ear protection.

The Solution

Walls were studded out and filled with low density open cell acoustic insulation within fabric of room. Result was a dramatic reduction in Db and more importantly operatives in room had more protection. Absorbed noise levels and reduced reverberation.
